Class Outline
A wonderfully seasonal topic this week, we will be using soft pastels to create characterful beach hut scenes inspired by the British seaside. Beautifully immediate and straight forward to use with some wonderful vibrant colours soft pastels are easy to blend and layer up and fabulous to use on A3 size paper. We'll sketch out a scene and then get to work with the colours and little details. An illustrative look is what we're aiming for this week with emphasis on naive charm but if you want to create a more realistic scene we can include perspective and other elements - the choice is yours! Perfect for beginners or more experienced artists. Everyone is welcome and groups are small and cosy. As usual gentle guidance, materials and fresh coffee & teas are included in the price.
