Class Outline

In our 2nd artist inspired week of classes this term we'll be creating our own Keith Haring paintings with his stylised graffiti people and bright colours. Keith Allen Haring was an American artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s. Renowned for super simple colourful dynamic figures there's a very cool vibe to his work and it's easy to achieve too! We'll use acrylic paper, you can choose the size, we'll do pencil drawings first then illustrate with our paints and give strong outlines. Perfect for both beginners and intermediates there will be plenty of guidance and flexibility to make the class right for you.
