Class Outline

We will be using fine grade Willow charcoal to make large studies of candles and their candle sticks / holders. Charcoal is a wonderful medium for this subject matter as it lends itself brilliantly to tonal blending to replicate soft light from flames and shadows for depth. With a variety of candle sticks and holders in glass and metal on offer they'll be plenty to observe and you can challenge yourself as much as you like. As usual gentle guidance, materials and fresh coffee are included in the price. Perfect for beginners or lapsed enthusiasts. Please see terms and conditions.
